Slums actually lacks basic amenities and the access to the essential services are limited. NGOs working for slum development helps to address social inequality and uplift the living standard by providing education, healthcare and basic needs. Children living in the slums are often vulnerable to various risks. Empowering slum children and educating them will contribute to positive and social growth of the nation.
